„The DBV, the German Farmers Association, estimates the total cost will be much higher in the neighborhood of $396.5 million. The association expects total area of farmland under water — currently 370,658 acres — to rise to 617,763 acres.“

Mein etwas launiger Kommentar dazu wurde entfernt. Ein anderer Leser hat das hier, ebenfalls von derselben Website, kommentiert:

„The garbage truck-size asteroid’s closest approach will bring it about 68,351 miles (110,000 km) above the surface of the planet tomorrow.“

Sein Kommentar: „To be a pedant for a minute. The original units for the distances were clearly SI, and specified to a certain degree of accuracy (110,000km and 300,000km). It is spurious accuracy to state these as 68,351 miles and 186,411 miles respectively. 68,000 miles (or even 70,000 miles) and 190,000 miles would be more correct.“
